Grama Panchayat

The Andoorkonam Grama Panchayat was formed by combining the Pallippuram village and a portion of the Andoorkonam village. With its blend of small hills and flatlands, the panchayat area shines as a miniature representation of Kerala. The panchayat is home to numerous ponds, streams, and backwater areas. The Andoorkonam Panchayat was established in 1953, and Andoorkonam itself is a ward located at the eastern end of the panchayat. Although the Andoorkonam Panchayat area is primarily agricultural, it also possesses an industrial base.
